Initial Consultation
The initial consultation is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. At this meeting we will determine your goals, explore your personal lifestyle and discuss aesthetic direction for your project.
Define Project Scope
Establishing a scope for your project helps to define the extent of the design services you will need and is fundamental to determining a budget. When we have completed this phase, I will present you with an outline for your review. We will make adjustments as needed prior to you signing off and approving all work.
Preliminary Design
Once the scope is determined I will start working on developing design concepts creating floor plans and drawings, concept boards and presenting options for your approval.
Implementation of Design
Whether your needs are for new construction, a remodel or procuring furniture, I will take care of all the design details. These include furniture plans with scaled drawings, architectural detailing, material selections (lighting, flooring, plumbing fixtures, appliance selection, cabinetry, tile for backsplashes, tubs and showers, wall finishes, fireplace surrounds), furniture specifications, procurement, custom furniture design, installation and styling, project management and landscape consultation as needed.
Finalize Design
The finishing touches are what bring your project together so you can enjoy your new space to the fullest. Accessorizing and addressing the final punch list and any outstanding issues is key to the overall success and enjoyment of your project.
My Goal
As your designer my focus is on you and how you function in your space. I will act as your advocate and help guide you in important decision making thereby removing a lot of the stress related to the multitude of decisions needing to be made related to selecting and purchasing furnishing, remodeling or new construction. I hope to save you money by not making potentially costly mistakes, and I have years of experience with trusted colleagues and vetted vendors I can share with you if you like.
